KidFilm Festival


Annual event showcasing international film and videos for kids! This is the largest and oldest event of its kind. It's fun and educational with a variety of animated works of children's art and more.

Martin Luther King Birthday Parade

Join the march through the downtown streets of Dallas, TX and celebrate the achievements and life of the great civil rights leader.

Cotton Bowl at Fair Park

The annual AT&T Cotton Bowl pig skin classic entertains all college football fans! The festivities are lively, including luncheons, conferences, and a parade, not to mention a classic game!

Golden Gloves Tournament

From all over the nation, the finest up and coming boxers get in the ring to find out who is the best amateur at this more than 70 year old event. Hella Shrine Temple in Garland is the venue.

AutoRama


Get your wheels spinning, from vintage to modern! A variety of cars can be seen at the Dallas Market Hall, including hot rods and customs, along with motorcycles and trucks.

Dallas Blooms


Make your way to a gorgeous spring sight with more than 300,000 spring-blooming bulbs and 20,000 flowering azaleas at this annual floral spectacular showcased at Dallas Arboretum. Tulips, poppies and cherry Blossoms create a lovely background for ArtScape, a fine art show and sale held during the festival.

North Texas Irish Festival

Rub your blarney stone and make your way to Fair Park for cultural events, storytellers, street performers, vendors, and lots of exhibits. Tour a Scottish Village, pet a bunny, enjoy culinary demonstrations and celebrate your Irish heritage!

Greenville Avenue St Patricks Day Parade

This annual parade has been thrilling patrons for many years and this green tradition continues each year along Greenville Avenue in Dallas. Over a hundred thousand patrons enjoy over a hundred colorful floats.

Savor Dallas

More than 50 top chefs and 500 fine wines will temp your taste buds at this annual event featuring a Wine Stroll in the Arts District, celebrity chef cooking demos and wine tasting seminars with those that know best.

Deep Ellum Arts Festival


Three days full of free concerts on 5 stages are offered at this annual festival. You can peruse original artwork created by hundreds of artists and nosh on yummy food and beverages. The annual Pet Parade and street performers keep this festival hopping.

USA Film Festival

This Spring Festival showcases Iinternational filmmakers congregating for film screenings and discussions about motion pictures. This is a wonderful experience for movie buffs and novices alike!

EarthFest

Celebrate our wonderful world with live entertainment and educational exhibits that teach about clean air, recycling, hybrid cars, clean water, smart grown and mass transit. A Recycled Fashion Show is a unique feature of the festival, held in downtown Dallas in the Arts District.

Prairie Dog Chili Cookoff

Get your spoons and crackers ready! Hundreds of chili cooks from across the state and surrounding states gather to battle for the prize of the best chili in Texas, and you can help them decide.

CityArts

If you find yourself in Dallas over Memorial Day weekend, then make your way to Fair Park where more than 300 artists from across the nation gather to present their works. The food is scrumptious, the music and dancing exciting, the art deco surroundings extraordinary and the festival a really good time.

Shakespeare in the Park


This annual event is the second oldest of its type in the U.S., offering performances of the Bard's plays in an outdoor setting at Samuell Grand Amphitheatre. Bring a picnic and enjoy excellent entertainment under the starry skies of Dallas.

Taste of Dallas


Food connoisseurs love this annual extravaganza! Enjoy an outstanding rray of restaurants and retail booths, kids' activities, live music and lots of family-friendly entertainment. The fest is held at Fair Park.

Dallas Home and Garden Show

Home improvement, decorating, remodeling, gardening, outdoor living and how to keep it green are all topics at this popular Home and Garden Show. It is held at Dallas Market Hall.

State Fair of Texas

Held at Fair Park, this annual event is over a hundred years old!  The fun includes amusement rides, livestock shows, contests, art, musical events, films, and more! Enjoy the unique food and beverages offered, as well.

Great Pumpkin Festival

The premier Autumn event at the Dallas Arboretum, this festival's activities abound, day and evening. The Storybook Pumpkin Village is a unique and fun way to celebrate Halloween with your kids!
 
Screams Halloween Theme Park

Billed as the World's Largest Halloween Theme Park, October brings 50 acres of spooky Halloween fun to the Dallas area. Don't wear costumes or masks, that's not what this is about. You can explore five major haunted areas, a Trail of Terror, Scary-Oke musical fun, classic horror movies and lots of family activities.

November

Texas Stampede


Make your way to the Allen Event Center to see performances by the biggest names in country music as well as a Pro-Rodeo featuring saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and bull riding.

December

Childrens Medical Center Holiday Parade


Call ahead to reserve bleacher seats at this annual festive event. Enjoy an array of holiday floats, marching bands, huge balloons, activities, Christmas spirit and cheer! The Downtown area comes alive during this season!

Scarborough Renaissance Festival

April-May

Thirty miles south of Dallas in the town of Waxahachie you will find an annual festival full of 16th century English village life complete with brave knights and falconers, humorous jugglers, and eclectic jesters. More than 200 merchants set up shop with numerous entertainers in and around the event.

Trains at NorthPark
November-January

More than thirty-five O-guage toy trains adorn the NorthPark Center as they run through the building and intrigue children and train lovers of all ages.
